At Aura Wellness Retreats, we believe in the connection between body, mind and soul. For us, it is important to nurture all of them to move towards a more holistic, socially aware and spiritually satisfying way of life.
We met at a retreat in Costa Rica four years ago and kept in touch after returning home. For a while, we dreamt of creating a place where women could feel at home and connect with like-minded people. That is how Aura Wellness Retreats was born.
Nicole is a British Dietetics graduate, vegan chef and food enthusiast. She firmly believes that we are what we eat, that is why she has designed an extensive program combining hands-on cooking lessons with nutrition workshops and lectures. She offers nourishing, plant-based recipes that are easy, delicious and visually appealing. With her, you will learn how to incorporate wholesome foods into your diet to live a more balanced and healthy life. The retreat’s menu is created by Nicole and made using fresh, local ingredients.
Certified yoga and pilates instructor, Amaia presents an engaging activity program that is empowering and fun. Her classes, suitable for all fitness levels and conditions, aim to improve flexibility and stability by strengthening the muscles and improving body posture. She has more than eight years of experience as an instructor and has had training in several yoga styles. She currently runs her own yoga and pilates studio in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
After being introduced to meditation in her early 20s, Rachel incorporated this practice into her daily life and travelled the world to study meditation, mindfulness and breathing techniques. Nowadays she lives in Rishikesh, India. Rachel’s sessions are designed for everyone, with or without previous experience, and will increase awareness, reduce stress levels, and improve concentration. Most importantly, you will learn how to take those techniques home to keep progressing on your spiritual journey.
